Why I created this
For most of my career, I thought success was something someone else gave you. The promotion, the title, the acclaim. You worked hard, proved yourself, and then still waited for someone else to decide whether you were ready for the next thing.
I was good at it.
Then I went through cancer and it changed my relationship with time. I remember thinking:
I don't want to wait around for someone else to tell me what I'm worth, how high I can climb, or where I can go.
I realised that you can build your entire career around a ladder, someone else always deciding whether you move up.
What I wanted was choices.
So I started building them: a coaching business, then an AI solution for families, and then another.
Not because I had a grand plan to be an entrepreneur. But I simply did not want my future to depend on one person, one company, or one singular career ladder.
I don't want to be limited by a career that just goes one way up.
I want the freedom from a career that gives me somewhere else to go, should I wish it.
I created this audit to help you start doing the same.
Hi, I'm Patricia. I've been building brand reputations and perceptions for 25 years.
These days I also mentor women so they can become clearer and more confident in how they show up where they need to. I've been building my own career web. I gave myself permission to think about what this can look like for me. It gave birth to Candour Leads, the new family app we're building, and another startup. This is me betting on myself.
